Choosing a Therapist

Choosing a therapist can be a daunting task.  There is often a lot of pressure to find the right fit.  Sometimes what we need is an empathetic person who will listen without judgement and a safe space to voice our fears and concerns.  I utilize a person centered approach, meaning, I follow your lead and trust that you know yourself best.  YOU determine your goals for therapy and YOU determine how you want to structure therapy.  I believe that my clients have the innate ability to heal and better themselves.  With the tools and guidance that I provide, you can start on the path to the future you desire. Even after searching for the right fit and a consultation call we may discover that the fit just isn't right for a lot of different reasons. If that happens I will gladly facilitate referral to a provider who is a more ideal fit.

I strive to create a safe and comforting space where I work to cultivate an environment of inclusivity and welcome individuals regardless of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, and marital status.  I have experience working with diverse populations and am an LGBTQIA ally.
